Looking for something different? You've come to the right place!
Private event spaces: venues with character for your events
Here's why
Why book a Cordée for your event?
Goodbye sterile meeting rooms and soulless conference centers! Hello Haussmann-style apartments with moldings and parquet floors, light-filled industrial warehouses and townhouses right in the city center. At La Cordée, we rent out spaces with character, a story and an on-site team to welcome you.
A conference room is easily forgotten. A place with soul leaves a mark. What sets a Cordée apart from a typical event venue is, first of all, the atmosphere. Your guests don't walk into a sterile, soulless room: they arrive somewhere with charm, easy to reach by public transit, where a team welcomes them and the coffee is already hot.
It's also about flexibility. Depending on the space and your event format, you can book a large meeting room, part of the space or the entire space. Our venues are all different, and our largest spaces can host up to 100 people at La Cordée Annecy, Lyon 7th Jean Macé and Lyon 9th Vaise.
And finally, it's about roots. La Cordée has been a social and solidarity economy organization, rooted in its cities, since 2011. Choosing our spaces for your event also means choosing a venue that makes a difference locally.

Offsites and team building
Our large spaces are a natural fit. High-speed Wi-Fi, projection equipment, whiteboards, fully equipped kitchens and a chill-out corner. Our team will help you put your event together so you can focus on the content, not the logistics.
Corporate parties and happy hours
A happy hour in a former 275 m² industrial warehouse or in a townhouse full of character in downtown Rennes makes a nice change from renting out a bar! Our spaces are open until 11 p.m. and adapt to your format: standing cocktail party, seated dinner, or both.
Conferences, workshops and trainings
Our large rooms host conferences, trainings, pitches and brainstorming sessions. For events open to the public, our spaces are ideally located downtown, within walking distance or easy to reach by public transit.
Photo shoots and filming
A former industrial warehouse with a climbing wall in Lyon 9th, an apartment with exposed stone and a view of the Rhône in Lyon 1st, a Breton house in Rennes: our spaces are real sets. Access is possible outside opening hours or in an empty-room setup.
Nonprofit and community events
Climate Fresk workshops, screenings and debates, nonprofit pitches, citizen workshops: since 2011, our spaces have hosted initiatives that drive change. As a social and solidarity economy organization, La Cordée gladly opens its doors to purpose-driven projects.

We offer breakfast as an option, but we don't provide lunch catering. You can hire an outside caterer, and we can point you to partners depending on the Cordée.
Yes, several of our spaces are great for photo shoots and filming: a former industrial warehouse in Lyon 9th, an apartment with a view of the Rhône in Lyon 1st, a townhouse in Rennes. Contact us for access to an empty space or outside opening hours.
Through the contact form below or on each space's page. Tell us the type of event, the date, the number of guests and the duration. We'll get back to you within 48 hours.
Some of our spaces are wheelchair accessible (Lyon 7th Jean Macé and Lyon 9th Vaise), others aren't: the layout of older apartments and houses doesn't always allow it. Let us know your needs in the form and we'll point you to the right space.
